World of Adventure! pt-1

           World of Adventure

Shaun was hanging out in his room staring out onto the American naval yard and airbase known as pearl harbor, when from somewhere in his room , "Hey Shaun!" shouts a very familiar voice. But it still causes Shaun to jump. "Where are you?!" Shaun yells pulling out his knife, "Show yourself!" unbeknownst to Shaun, the figure had appeared
above him. The voice says, "Chill hero. It's just me." No one calls him hero but- shaun looks up to see Marceline's daughter, Jennifer, hanging upside down from a swirling orange portal. "Jenny? How did you summon a portal into my room? And more importantly, why?" Shaun was then kicked in the face as Jennifer climbed down through the portal. "Ow, did you have to kick me?" Shaun says. "No, but I kinda wanted to see you in pain." They both chuckled at the small vampire's comment. "So, what brings you to my neck of the woods today?" Shaun asks, curious. "I just came by to show you, This!" she then pulls out a large white object that kinda looks like a robot arm, "What is that thing?" Shaun asks, "This is princess Bubblegum's latest invention, she calls it ITA or Instantaneous Travel appliance. But I call it a portal gun!" With this she blasts an orange ball the size of a baseball at one wall and a blue one at the other. Then she sticks her hand through and grabs a sword on the floor and brings it through the portal. "Impressed?" "Yeah actually I am." Shaun says. Jennifer laughs at his expression. Shaun asks "So, you want me to call Ghost and see if he wants to go adventuring? You could tag along if you like." Jennifer agrees and they go to find Shaun's bro, Ghost.


         Five and a half hours later, Shaun, Jennifer, and the raindog, Ghost are seen walking through the forest dragging a large, bundled creature who is screaming curses at them. Shaun is the first to speak "Does anybody think that tree king may be a distant relative of the ice king?" "maybe" mumbles Ghost, They walk without speaking for about twenty minutes, when Shaun randomly asks Ghost, "Hey Ghost, why are you always white? I mean, you are a raindog, you can be any color you want!" Ghost replies ,"Because , dude, if I use all my power on changing the color of my skin, I won't be able to fly." Shaun, who kind of stopped listening, said  "Ok." When nobody had said anything for awhile, Jennifer grabbed a small black beetle, crushed it, and turned it into a sound dagger. She tapped it but no sound came from it, so she banged it against a tree and started reciting lyrics from an old song she had heard. "Whoa, Jenny, that song is cool, which song is it?" Shaun asks, "I don't know, it's just an old song my mom used to sing to me." She says, feeling a little happier now that she had sang the song.
